We started out as High School sweethearts. We met at our Church's youth group. During our courtship, God called each of
us, individually, into His ministry, but fear, insecurity and immaturity caused us to doubt the validity of that call, and
so we chose our own path. We married, went to college, joined the Navy, suffered from depression, oppression, hopelessness,
and anxiety, until God in His mercy, gave us a second chance to fulfill our purpose in His kingdom.
We consider ourselves to be missionaries in training. We've pursued studies through the Sunrise Center for Buddhist
Studies, at the Center for World Missions in Pasadena, CA. Then completed a 2 year Missiology program at Bethany College
of Missions, Bloomington, MN.
Currently we are living and ministering in Southern Illinois with our four children.
Our Mission
We desire to fulfill Jesus' command to disciple all nations (Mt. 28:19), by answering God's call to be career missionaries
to unreached people groups, or to whomever He sends us:
a) by living among them;
b) and sharing their lifestyle and burdens (Acts 20:18)
(Mk.2:16-17).
We will present the gospel so they may hear and be saved (Rom. 10:13-15) (Jn. 5:24)
a) through daily dialogue, sharing our faith and
testimonies;
b) by helping them obtain and study the Word of God in a
context understandable to them both in language and
culture;(Mt. 22:29)
We will endeavor to plant Christian churches among these people groups:
a) by discipling them in prayer and worship
(John 4:23-24);
b) by holding regular worship, study and fellowship
times;
c) teaching them to live by God's commandments;
d) teaching , convincing, rebuking, and exhorting all
that God has taught us.
We will instill God's call in others, both at home and abroad, to fulfill theGreat Commission in their own lives;
a) by keeping current on status of unreached peoples;
b) by encouraging and equipping others to send forth
long-term, short-term, and career missionaries.
c) by remembering, praying for, encouraging those
serving our Lord, whether at home, aboard, free or
persecuted.
